A playscript featuring lots on furniture and prepositions. The script is followed by a sequence od activities in which students have to deduce the patterns following the prepositions and then apply their deductions to the creation of new sentences.

The Powerpoint features the verbs sehen, lesen and hören in the Perfect, Present and Future tenses. A click will remove one of the nine verbs and pupils have to say what has been removed. Another click will put the verb back. And so on ...

The Powerpoint contains a set of questions which form a scaffold for pair work. There is a stop watch on every slide to encourage the students to try to improvise a one-minute answer to each question.

This a stripped down version of the KS4 text I uploaded, which is called Untergang der Titanic. Hopefully this will be accessible for relative beginners. There is a stimulus text, a vocab list to aid comprehension, questions in English, a 'find the phrase' exercise, a manipulation exercise, some FAQs to comment on and research, and a writing task to wrap it up. I've put the rubrics in English and German. These can be edited one way or the other to suit your group.

Interactive activity for practising key verbs relating to free time

The PPT is a riddle and acts as a quick starter for discussions about Wiesler. The character description is an acrostic of Wiesler's name. Reveal one slide at a time until the penny drops.

A speaking (and possibly writing) activity in which students must use on-screen support to generate sentences about key characters in the film. The first page on the slide acts as a homepage, hyperlinking students to hidden photos of the characters.
